Frequently Asked Questions

What time is check-in?

Check-in is after 4:00pm on the date of your arrival. Lock codes will not work prior to check-in.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is 10:00am on the date of your departure.

Are beach towels provided?

Beach towels are not provided; however, you will be able to purchase them from our beach shop-no packing necessary.

Do we need a key?

There will be no keys issued for the rental property.  After your reservation is paid in full, in your check in documents, you will receive a door code to the keyless entry lock located at the main entrance to the property.

When is my payments due?

For rentals, except Rumors, one-third is due at the time of booking, and all balances must be paid 60 days prior to arrival date, unless other arrangements have been made through our office.

Rumors, one-forth is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due ninety days before arrival

What happens if we break something?

Accidental rental damage protection is included for any accidental damages, subject to exclusions and limitations, that occur to the premises during your rental period. This damage protection covers unintentional damages to the rental property that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out.

What is your cancellation policy?

A written cancellation is required for your reservation deposit to be refunded on all rentals. For any cancellation that is more than 60 days prior to the check-in date, a $75.00 processing fee will be deducted from your initial reservation payment for cancellation. If the cancellation occurs 1-60 days prior to arrival (except Rumors), the full rental amount paid will be retained by Coastal Resort Rentals.

Rumors cancellation policy is 90 days.

The fee for CSA’s Travel Protection Plan (if purchased) will not be refunded.

What about Hurricanes or Mandatory Evacuations?

In the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation issued by the National Weather Service and/or local authorities, you will be asked to leave NO LATER than two hours once issued. We do not issue refunds for cancellations due to hurricanes or other tropical disturbances. This is the main reason we highly recommend guest purchase CSA Travel Insurance, which does cover hurricane cancellations.

Is there an age requirement to rent?

The individual making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property the entire term of the reservation. Singles under 25 years of age are prohibited unless accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Restrictions may apply regarding the number of people that may accompany a parent or legal guardian. Additional restrictions may apply during the spring break vacation period. Chaperoned groups are prohibited unless given prior approval.  Married couples under the age of 25 are excluded from the age restriction.

What comes with the rental?

Linens & towels are provided. In addition, a start-up supply of bath soap, shampoo/conditioner, dish detergent, laundry detergent, paper towel, toilet paper provided.

Kitchens are stocked with cookware, utensils, blender, toasters, microwave, coffee maker.

Each property has a washer and dryer.

 

Are Pets allowed?

We do have lovely properties in Fort Morgan where pets are allowed in the rentals and on the beach. Keep in mind, there is a leash law.

 (Gulf Shores and Orange Beach does not allow pets on the beach).

Is there smoking?

No smoking is allowed within any of the properties.

Are there any guest discounts?

Yes, there is a 10% return guest discount when you book directly from our website.

Military receive a 10% discount.
