Orange Beach Waterfront Park

Orange Beach Dog Park

Our unleashed dog park is a ¾-acre shaded area with double-gate entry and separate fencing for small and large dogs. There are plenty of benches for owners to sit on and tons of water for the dogs. The park was developed as a collaborative effort by the city of Orange Beach and private citizens. • Parking is available at Sportsman Marina's Dry Storage • Dogs must be current on all vaccinations • No more than two dogs per handler For more rules and regulations, visit our website. Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail

Gulf State Park’s Hugh S. Branyon Back Country Tail Complex consists of 15 trails among six distint ecosystems that make up more than 27 miles of paved, winding scenic paths perfect for hiking and biking. It connects both of the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Prepare to gasp in amazement when you spot an alligator basking in the sun in a freshwater marsh or spy a white-tailed deer on Gulf Oak Ridge among the park’s 6,ooo acres of pristine coastline and wildlife refuge.

Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach

 Pets welcome on the first floor of the gallery only; must be leashed and under control at all times. Service animals are welcome. We reserve the right to ask any pets be removed. The Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach is the perfect location for a destination wedding. The 10,000 sq ft new gallery space includes a 5,000 sq ft main hall, a catering kitchen, and separate bride and groom dressing areas. Outside the grounds feature a waterfront stage overlooking Wolf Bay, lavishly landscaped grounds, and moss draped oaks. The scenery is breathtaking and our staff hospitality is outstanding.

The Clay Studio at The Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach

Pets welcome but must be leashed and under control at all times. Service animals are also welcome. We reserve the right to ask any pets be removed. The Clay Studio is located on the beautiful grounds of the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach. Resident ceramics artist Maya Blume-Cantrell will guide you through hand building, throwing on the pottery wheel, glazing or pick-n-paint. Browse all our beautiful two and three-dimensional art in our new 10,000 square foot fine arts gallery and then browse the gift shop to take a piece of local artistry home with you. 

Flora-Bama Ole River Grill

 

Flora-Bama Ole River Bar welcomes your pet on the deck, but remember to keep it on a leash.  Open air waterfront dining restaurant, family friendly, hook n' cook available, fresh Gulf seafood, gorgeous sunset water views, 40 TV's, frozen drinks and draft beers, open for lunch and dinner, live music.

 

Flora-Bama Yacht Club
Flora-Bama Yacht Club welcomes your pet outside, but remember to keep it on a leash. The Flora-Bama Yacht Club features open-air waterfront dining on Ole River across the street from the world famous Flora-Bama Lounge, Package & Oyster Bar. With a chef-to-table experience and hand-crafted cocktails, this Gulf Coast establishment is a place where everyone is a member. Join us by boat or by land, fancy or sandy, and come try our delicious Bushwackers and Greek Shrimp Nachos

Bayes Southern Bar & Grill  

Bayes Southern Bar and Grill outside patio is always open to our furry little companions. Please stop by and enjoy the view with your furry friends. Located in the beautiful SpringHill Suites, we offer fresh from the Gulf seafood and our own take on Southern cuisine. Here at Bayes Southern Bar & Grill our guests enjoy hand-cut steaks, seared duck breast and much more. Our restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in a chic, unique design. Villaggio Grille at The Wharf

Villaggio Grille at The Wharf welcomes your pet outside on the patio, but remember to keep them on a leash at all times. Italian Fusion has never tasted so good at the Villaggio Grille at The Wharf. We feature an extensive wine list and bar and champagne brunch on Sunday, creative appetizers, salads, and sandwiches, fantastic seafood, steaks and other entrees. We also serve "flats," which are delicious pizzas prepared in our wood fired oven. With indoor and outdoor seating, we offer different catering packages, a great staff and a beautiful venue.

The Gulf

A configuration of repurposed shipping containers, The Gulf offers food inspired by the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy an outstanding cheeseburger and an amazing view.

The Dog Pond

Bring man’s best friend to The Dog Pond at Gulf State Park on Lake Shelby. Check out the new agility and play equipment, and stay tuned for additional improvements throughout 2018. Lake Shelby is home to many types of wildlife including alligators. Please be aware at all times. • Dogs must be current on all vaccinations. • Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park. • Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the premises. Dogs must be removed at the first sign of aggression.

Gulf Shores Dog Park

The City of Gulf Shores Dog Park features a large fenced in green space to accommodate both small and large dogs. Seating, waste bag stations and water for pets is provided. The Dog Park is located at 308 Clubhouse Drive.

Gulf State Park

Tiki's Mini Golf 

We allow dogs as long as long as they are leashed and well behaved with people around. Enjoy the Island’s favorite home of all you can play mini golf. For just $5, you can play under the shade of our majestic oaks for as long as your heart desires. We have 18 holes of fun for the entire family. We are located in beautiful Gulf Shores, not far from the sugar-white sand beaches. We also offer bike rentals. Our hours are 9am-11pm every day of the week.  

Fort Morgan

While pets are not allowed inside of the museum, they are welcome on the grounds. The Alabama Marine Resources Division will close the Fort Morgan Boat Ramp in Baldwin County for renovations on February 12, 2018. Access to the ramp will not be permitted throughout the renovation process. Renovations to the Fort Morgan Boat Ramp include replacing the existing two single-lane launch ramps and one finger pier with two double-lane launch ramps and three finger piers. When completed, the renovations are expected to alleviate much of the congestion experienced during heavily utilized periods. The Royal Oyster

Although pets are not allowed inside the restaurant due to health code laws, we have pet-friendly outdoor seating and welcome four-legged guests to accompany their pet parents. The Royal Oyster is a small restaurant specializing in boutique oysters and local seasonal foods. We are a full-service oyster bar that prides itself on serving local ingredients, fresh seafood and handmade cocktails. We regularly serve up fresh oysters from all over the country while also serving boutique oysters from our local providers. Our establishment is family-friendly, and we have plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the water. 

Sassy Bass Amazin' Grill, Sassy Bass Market Place and Pizza/Deli

We understand and agree that pets are family too. Sassy Bass Amazin' Grill welcomes leashed pets on our outside deck.  Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grill is located in Sassy Bass Market Place where you'll find our grocery, pizza/deli, liquor store, gift shop, seafood market and butcher shop. We've got you covered!  Unique food, outrageous fun and casual prices. You catch ‘em, we cook ‘em! Your catch can be served grilled, blackened or fried with your choice of two sides and garlic bread

Pirate's Cove Marina & Restaurant

Your well-behaved dog is welcome here on a leash.  For 61 years, we have been serving locals and visitors of the Alabama Gulf Coast. We are famous for our signature burgers and bushwhackers. We also have plenty of other choices such as sandwiches and salads on our menu. Another popular menu item is our homemade pizza made with our signature dough. We don’t just stop there. Come by for breakfast and enjoy some locally-smoked sausage. Along with the food, we offer boat parking, live music and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Graham Creek Nature Preserve

 Graham Creek Nature Preserve is home to hundreds of plant and wildlife species. This 500-acre nature park offering passive recreation opportunities and educational programs. We have a handicap accessible boardwalk and tree grove and multiple trails for walking, hiking, dog walking and bird watching. Pine savanna habitat features wild flowers and pitcher plants. Bring your gear and hit the water from our kayak launch or play on three disc golf courses, archery park and playground. Restrooms, outdoor classroom, pavilion and Interpretive Center.

Fort Gaines Historic Site

Pets are allowed on the grounds, while access is not permitted inside of the museum to protect the historical artifacts. After walking the grounds, bring Fido to the Fort Gaines beaches where leashes are required. The well-preserved ramparts of Fort Gaines have guarded the entrance to Mobile Bay for more than 150 years. Today, the fascinating historic site is open daily for tours, school groups and sightseers. It's prime location on the eastern tip of Dauphin Island commands panoramic views of the bay and the Gulf of Mexico and offers a chance to experience living history first hand. Learn about the role of Fort Gaines in the Battle of Mobile Bay, one of the Civil War's most notable naval conflicts.
